How to commission a piece of work
At Arc Eye Artworks we have a number of stock items, all of which are individually made to order.
However, you may have an idea for a completely different piece, or you would like to adapt one of the styles you have seen for your home or garden. At ArcEye we specialise in commissioned pieces that are unique to you. We love creating individual pieces and enjoy the challenge that this brings!
Commissioning work is simple
- Do your research - think about what you want the piece for, its function and purpose. Where do you want it to go (which room, indoors or outdoors)? What size will it need to be (height, width, depth dimensions)? What materials (wood, steel, stone) do you want to have incorporated? Look at our site to see which styles and types of work you like
- Get in touch - call us and/or arrange to visit our workshop to discuss your requirements. We will explore your ideas and help you decide what is practicable and best suited to your needs
- Quotation - we will provide a written quotation outlining the specifications of the piece, the production time and the fee
- Commission agreement - upon agreeing the quotation 50% of the commission fee is payable, with the final payment on completion. Delivery of items can be arranged, as necessary, and is charged separately
